A Natural Determination to succeed internationally

 

The challenge for Westland Milk Products, a company that distributes to over 40 countries around the globe, was to create a powerful brand strategy, story, values and design system - to help it stand out from other New Zealand dairy companies with a clear point of difference and value proposition to its international customers.

Building upon its true point of difference - a unique spirit, born of over 150 years of dairy farming on the wild West Coast of New Zealand, where nature is in charge - led to the brand idea, Natural Determination, and a clear story of how the Westland team bring a natural grit, determination and adaptability to their business relationships.

The Results
Since beginning the brand transformation back in 2018, the Westland team have been going from strength to strength, staging such a turnaround that the company was named a finalist in the Deloitte Top 200 Awards 2023 - for the Most Improved Performance NZ Business award - recognises an outstanding change in business performance.
